New bands

 Bit of a misleading title to this piece, I should have said bands new to me as the first one I'm going to tell you about have been around for some time.  There're called Warrior Soul and supported Tyketto when we saw them in London recently.

There're raucous, loud and very Punk. I loved them! Founded by Kory Clarke, who is the lead vocalist, in the 1980's they  hail from the US. When I heard them it took me right back to early gigs I'd been to alot of which were Punk. They are bloody brilliant! (6) Warrior Soul Official | Facebook

Next up are The Karma Effect. I was just scrolling through Instagram and found this lot. Abit bluesy, abit rock n roll, quite laid back sometimes and in yer face at others. I really like them, so much so in under a week I've bought both their CD's. Really new as a band, they've only been going since 2020, though much earlier and I reckon the band members would have been at school! These boys hail from London, great to hear a good rock band from the big smoke! Don't seem to have been many lately! - The Karma Effect - dirty, sweet rock n' roll.

Bad Actress are from the opposite end of the country to The Karma Effect, Forres from the Highlands of Scotland to be exact!  Pretty bloody good I can tell you. Sadly no studio album yet only a five track EP . I've only heard them on YouTube but will watch out for gigs!    https://badactress.net 

It's funny, I've been trying to source some new bands for ages as most of who I like aren't getting any younger  then three bands come along almost at once! Will they ever replace the old barnstormers of Motorhead, Judas Priest, Status Quo, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple? Who knows, I've always enjoyed live music and want to keep listening  and broadening my musical horizons!
