A Medal for Life, a biography of Lieut William Leefe Robinson VC

I was interested in this slim volume as, as a child and young adult I lived not too far from where he is buried and have been in the pub/resturant that bears his name thats more or less opposite the graveyard. He was quite a character according to the book but there's alot in it that goes off on bit of a tangent which is a shame. My Grandmother lived in Paddington at the time when Leefe Robinson shot down the German Zeppilien and actually saw it! She always said the flames were bright enough to read a book by!
This is a short book, my interest in it is the fact I lived not far from Leefe Robinson’s grave and also the pub ( now a Miller & Carter steak house) named after him. It’s short on detail to be honest and some the end appendixes bear little reference to Leefe Robinson but generally it’s ok. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1186378906i/1651387.jpg
